It's been 3 weeks!

I have been in Chile for about 3 weeks now and I love it! My family is very helpful and patient when it comes to me learning the language. I admit, I should have taken my dads advice and tried to learn some spanish before I came but I decided to take the hard way instead! My school here is very different, I have a uniform and I stay in one class all day while the teachers rotate to each class room, we don't eat lunch in school either, at 2 we dismiss and everybody goes home for lunch. At 3 or 4 some students go back to school for sports, art, music,etc.

The Adventure Begins!!

I am Janey Atkinson, I live in Charlotte, NC and in 3 days I am taking the most exciting adventure of my life! With the help of my family, friends and most of all the Rotary International Club; I will be on the plane to Study in Chile on August 19th!! I am using this blog to update everyone back in the U.S.A., and this will also be an "online journal" to record my memories while studying in Chile!!
